Between the two of them, Emma Stone and Olivia Wilde have starred in a whopping six big-budget movies this summer alone. They've been all over the red carpet lately, promoting those films and attending other events. And now Revlon has signed the two big-screen beauties as its newest global ambassadors. In other words: Get ready for even more Stone and Wilde. As ambassadors, the duo will become the face of two new makeup and nail-polish lines and will appear in digital, print and TV ads, not to mention having their pretty mugs wallpapered in the cosmetics section of drugstores. (They'll also help raise money for women's health issues.) Though she's the daughter of grunge icons Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love, Francis Bean Cobain has stayed surprisingly under the radar over the years, even while her publicity-seeking mom continued to make headlines. No longer. In a series of striking images taken by designer and photographer Hedi Slimane, Cobain seems a natural in front of the camera, working an angle that's both grown-up sultry and adolescent punk rock. Like any legendary superstar, Amy Winehouse will most likely give the world unreleased recordings even in death. But one project she completed before her demise July 23? A fashion collection in collaboration with British retailer Fred Perry. WWD reports that the fall 2011 and spring 2012 Amy Winehouse for Fred Perry line -- which debuted in 2010 -- will still be released as planned. Said the late singer's father, Mitch Winehouse: "When Fred Perry came to us to ask what we would like to do with the new collection it was natural to continue. This is so obvious as to barely register excitement, but Vanity Fair is honoring Kate Middleton with a mention on its International Best-Dressed List. (Not that we don't enjoy a good duchess-worthy look from time to time either, but making her the star of its esteemed list, now in its 72nd year, is just so, you know, predictable.) In a press release, the mag notes her "whirlwind of fashion successes" and helpfully points out that she's "captivated the world with her signature mix of high and low fashion." Other snazzy dressers who made the cut include Barack and Michelle, Carey Mulligan, Justin Timberlake and Carla Bruni-Sarkozy. But lest you think VF's list is totally devoid of surprises, consider its left-field appointee to the best-dressed Hall of Fame: NBC anchorman Brian Williams. Good lord, is Katy Perry's hair going to fall out? The singer has gone from her signature black tresses to red to blonde to pink--in the space of about six weeks. Yesterday, Perry ventured out in L.A. with bright pink locks, but before she did, she Tweeted on July 25: "I have been dying my hair since 10pm! Good GOD let me get to my destination tonight! #beenblack #beenblue #beenhotginge #beenblonde #now..." What's more, People reports that the pop star's hair-color parade was recently halted due to "risk of damaging her hair." Yikes! Oops! As of July 21, Kristin Cavallari was a blushing bride-to-be on a photo shoot where she modeled wedding dresses by Anne Bowen and Mon Cheri Bridals and gushed about her upcoming nuptials ("I want a romantic, mystical wedding, with lots of flowers," she told Life & Style). As of July 23, the reality star was single, reportedly blindsided when her fianc�, Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, broke off their engagement. Kind of sounds like a movie plot, doesn't it? The Daily Mail is reporting that the long-discussed Sex and the City prequel movie is happening and that the four leads are close to being cast. Despite protestations from original cast members Sarah Jessica Parker and Kristin Davis, it seems series producer Michael Patrick King is on board to take Candace Bushnell's two prequels (The Carrie Diaries and Summer in the City), which chronicle the characters' teen and young adult lives, to the big screen. And in the starring role ... Elizabeth Olsen as Carrie Bradshaw, supported by Blake Lively (Samantha), Selena Gomez (Charlotte) and Emma Roberts (Miranda). Olsen isn't quite a household name just yet, but seeing that she counts designers Mary-Kate and Ashley as siblings, the 22-year-old actress just might have the style chops to play the fashion-forward, label-loving Bradshaw.
