Guess Who's Set to Play Carrie in the New SATC Prequel?!
Jul 26th 2011, 17:51

SATC Prequel

The Daily Mail is reporting that the long-discussed Sex and the City prequel movie is happening and that the four leads are close to being cast. Despite protestations from original cast members Sarah Jessica Parker and Kristin Davis, it seems series producer Michael Patrick King is on board to take Candace Bushnell's two prequels (The Carrie Diaries and Summer in the City), which chronicle the characters' teen and young adult lives, to the big screen. And in the starring role ... Elizabeth Olsen as Carrie Bradshaw, supported by Blake Lively (Samantha), Selena Gomez (Charlotte) and Emma Roberts (Miranda). Olsen isn't quite a household name just yet, but seeing that she counts designers Mary-Kate and Ashley as siblings, the 22-year-old actress just might have the style chops to play the fashion-forward, label-loving Bradshaw.

It looks like the romance for Jesse James and LA Ink star Kat Von D is already over. The two have called it quits on their relationship as well as the planned nuptials. With Kat in Los Angeles and Jesse in Austin, it just wasn't working out. "I'm so sad because I really love her. The distance between us was just too much," Jesse told People magazine regarding their split.

Jesse, 42, and Kat, 29, had publicly said that they planned to spend the rest of their lives together, even going so far as to refer to each other as soul mates. At this point, they'll be lucky to just stay friends.

How Did Heath Ledger Die
Jul 26th 2011, 10:05

Question: How Did Heath Ledger Die?

Answer:

On January 22, 2008, actor Heath Ledger was found dead in his NYC apartment. He was only 28 years old and left behind a 2-year-old daughter, Matilda (from his relationship with Michelle Williams). Friends, family, and even fans were left wondering the same thing: How did Heath Ledger really die?

After what seemed like an eternity, medical investigators unearthed some very telling information following an autopsy. According to reports from CNN, Heath died of an overdose and the list of drugs found in his body included:

  • Oxycodone for pain
  • Hydrocodone - the pain reliever found in Vicodin
  • Valium (Diazepam)
  • Temazepam for anxiety or sleeplessness
  • Xanax (Alprazolam)
  • Doxylamine - a sedating antihistamine

While the overdose was ruled to have been accidental, it was still sad to think that Heath felt the need to over-medicate himself to escape whatever must have been ailing him.
