Based on earnings from June 2004 to June 2005, Forbes Magazine has named its top richest people under 25 and some of Hollywood's favorite celebrities have made the exclusive cut.
While the ridiculous bank accounts of the Olsen twins won't surprise anyone, some of the other stars on the list might. Read on to find out which celebrity you'd secretly want naming you in their will.
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen
When the subject of your list is "young and rich stars", Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, 19, are sure bets for being included. They started building their empire of success when they were barely out of diapers. In 2005, thanks to their sitcom royalties and continuing DVD sales, the twin sisters took in $21 million.
Hilary Duff
It's hard to believe that in 2005, Hilary Duff released a string of music hits, starred in a handful of hit movies including The Perfect Man with Heather Locklear, and dated 27 year old rocker, Joel Madden. It's hard to believe because this actress and singer was only 18 years old at the time and made $15 million.
Lindsay Lohan
Lindsay Lohan, 19, worked so hard in 2004 and 2005 on her music and movie career that she nearly had a breakdown. She took some time off to "rest" and came back stronger than ever. She starred in the hit remake Herbie Fully Loaded and managed to rake in $11 million.
Paris Hilton
Paris Hilton, 24, likes to call herself an actress and a model. The actress part is probably up for debate, but we can certainly agree that her modeling career has been hot. She's even been spending time in the studio working on an album. For all of her efforts, she went home with $6.5 million in 2005.
Ashlee Simpson
Ashlee Simpson, 21, has had quite the fast moving career in the music world. She released her first album, Autobiography in 2004 and it shot up the charts to #1. Despite her karaoke mishap on Saturday Night Live, she went on to release another successful album, I am Me in 2005. Looks like the SNL scandal left her unscathed, because the singer still made $5.3 million in 2005.
