Her sister Dakota has long been a muse for Marc Jacobs (of her appeal, Jacobs told WWD last month, "I knew she could be this contemporary Lolita, seductive yet sweet."), and now Elle Fanning has jumped on the designer's bandwagon. The retro-inspired campaign for Jacobs's secondary line, Marc by Marc Jacobs, debuts in the fall and features Fanning modelling furry jackets, heart-shaped sunglasses, bright prints and heels with socks. (You can see more looks from the line here.) The outfits are all very '70s, with the wee actress staring intensely at the camera. Which begs the question: How effective is a 13-year-old at selling a women's line, anyway?
